Sebastian has been part of PureSpectrum since early 2022, leading the Central Europe region. When the company approached him, his answer was immediate: “I’m in!” What convinced him was the strong connection between innovative technology and practical applicability.
“I’ve rarely seen companies combine technology and practical applicability this well. PureSpectrum does things differently, works proactively, has a great company culture, and the potential to fundamentally improve online data collection: through simplification, greater efficiency, and better data quality.”

Sales Director, CE at PureSpectrum
A Team That Embraces Responsibility
Together with his team, Sebastian pursues a clear goal: making clients’ daily work easier. “I’m responsible for leading a functioning, motivated, and satisfied team—and for bringing our values to Central Europe.”
These values—transparency, flat hierarchies, and customer closeness—also shape PureSpectrum’s company culture. “Everyone takes responsibility. A value framework in daily professional life has a positive impact within the team—and naturally on our clients as well.”
Leadership Means Consistency and Humanity
For Sebastian, long-term success is built on a clear foundation: “Doing things consistently, day after day—because only then is development possible.”
His leadership style is marked by realism and clarity: “Do things—because only then can they become reality. In practice, things often work differently than in your head. And that’s exactly why motivation is needed—and people must be at the center, whether in the team or as clients.”
A Market in Motion and PureSpectrum in the Middle of It
The online data collection market is in flux: “I see a lot of interest in innovative solutions and a growing demand for good data as a basis for decision-making. At the same time, budgets and timelines are becoming increasingly tight.”
For Sebastian, this is precisely the opportunity: “Customer proximity, speed, and cost efficiency create real competitive advantages—especially in the new era of AI. And that’s exactly where we focus.”
“We still see so much potential in the region and have big plans,” says Wezel. The traditionally strong DACH market is currently undergoing change, and after only four years in the region, PureSpectrum has secured a solid position in the market. The Central Europe hub is located in Berlin and continues to grow.
Inspiration From the Global Team
He finds the work of the international team particularly inspiring, especially in engineering: “Chad Nuesmeyer, our SVP of Engineering & Product, comes to mind. He leads the development of our platform with his team. Gaining insight into this central work and shifting perspectives is refreshing.”
What Drives Him – Professionally and Personally
Sebastian is driven by a desire to make things better, with a focus on long-term impact. “And of course, I’m inspired by the people at this company. It’s a journey I’ve shared with the team since 2022 and it continues to be incredibly rewarding.”
What Fuels the Journey
When he’s not working alongside his team, Sebastian enjoys spending time with his family and loves to travel. He has a spirit of curiosity that also shapes his leadership.
“The journey I’ve shared with my team is something truly special—and every step has been worth it. I’m excited for what’s still to come.”
PureSpectrum has a DACH office in Berlin, which serves as the regional hub and drives further expansion and future growth across Central Europe.
