An inside look at how a single question, “Is this PSX?”, became the standard that shaped our 2026 website relaunch, our deliberate effort to make our approach to quality and experience visible in every interaction.
As part of our 10-year milestone and celebration, we decided to refresh PureSpectrum.com. Welcome to our relaunched website, we’re so glad you’re here!
Our website relaunch traces back to a question our CEO, Michael McCrary, began asking in 2023: “Is this PSX?” It wasn’t a slogan or a reminder. It was a standard. The PureSpectrum Experience, or PSX, became the filter we apply to everything, how we evaluate interactions, pressure test ideas, and ultimately define the quality of our work. It was a standard of excellence. In 2025, the company was performing at a high level across the board. That didn’t change the question. If anything, it made it more important. “Is this PSX?” became less about correcting what was off and more about challenging what was already working. That discipline is what continues to move us from strong performance to a higher standard of excellence.
As we planned for 2026, our 10-year anniversary year, we applied that lens more intentionally. The goal was not to fix what was broken, it was to challenge what was already working and see how much better it could be. High performance should not lead to complacency. It should create pressure to keep improving. Every success sets a higher bar, and a team of high performers thrives in a culture of continuous improvement and pushing for better results.
Each department assessed how they operate and where they could raise the standard, and as a leadership team, we stepped back to look across the business more holistically. We spent time thinking about how we present ourselves as a company, what our strengths are, and where we have opportunity in the industry. What came out of that introspection wasn’t surprising. We know we are the most trusted sample marketplace, and that we have the industry’s leading approach to quality, but how clearly have we been communicating that?
As a technology company, our website serves as our brick-and-mortar storefront. It is often the first interaction someone has with PureSpectrum, and it carries a lot of weight in how we are understood. When I applied the PSX lens to the website in 2025, it became clear it was time for a refresh. Over the last eight months, we invested in that process. Not just from a design standpoint, but in how we guide users through the experience, showcase our technology, and communicate what matters most. We asked ourselves what someone should understand within seconds of landing on the site, and how that clarity should carry through every page.
One of the most important decisions we made was to lead with exactly what we are: PureSpectrum is a sample marketplace that delivers the highest-quality survey respondents in the industry. That statement is not positioning language, it is how we operate. It shows up in how we manage our marketplace, govern supply, and approach quality across the entire survey lifecycle. That includes everything from pre-survey screening to in-survey monitoring and post-survey review, supported by both our systems and our teams. PureScore™ plays a central role in that, and we wanted to make sure website visitors understand its power and mechanics. It applies an AI-driven approach to evaluating behavior and identifying risk, not as a one-time check, but as a continuous layer built into the marketplace.
PSX also shaped how we thought about the overall experience of the site. Our goal was to create a more structured and intentional user journey. That meant building clearer paths based on who you are, adding depth for those who want to understand how the platform works, and incorporating real examples and customer perspectives to create a more grounded, tailored experience. This was a collaborative effort across the company. We brought in feedback from executives, team leaders, and individual contributors to ensure alignment on how we represent the business. That process made the outcome stronger and more representative of the company as a whole. Thank you to all of our team members for your candid feedback. I can honestly say I feel blessed to work alongside all of you and am so proud and grateful for our culture.
As PureSpectrum marks ten years, our website relaunch is an important moment. It brings greater clarity to how we show up, and it aligns the experience of our website with how we operate as a company. We deliver an excellent product and excellent service to all stakeholders, that is PSX.
